My son Chadwyck Wirtz took this photo, and it made me think where do we go from here, or where are we are now and what are we doing. As an artist you are always wanting to grow your art, improve your work or try something new. There is a fear of acceptance of your art. Is it good enough, is it interesting, is it beautiful?
Sometimes just random thoughts about art are intriguing. I read this morning in Arthritis Today that viewing beautiful art or a wonderful view can help you heal and feel better. Esther M. Sternberg MD wrote in the magazine that arthritis patients improved when they were creating art. The brain responds to beauty, so to improve how you feel and to improve your mood either enjoy art or create art.
My son also shares that going to the gym does the same thing. So today I am going to the gym, going to work in the gallery and work on my artwork tonight. Think I will be happy.
