My friends recently moved to Australia and asked me to do a drawing of the lovely home they designed, sold and left behind. It was fun to do this for someone I personally respected. We taught together at The Art Institute of Seattle. He taught architecture and I taught interior design. Miss the students, but don’t miss the school.
Every little detail in a drawing makes a difference. Getting the right curve so that draperies softly drape in your drawing and look realistic is one detail that can help your drawings.
On this page the first two drawing show the difference that adding gray scale and having just a line drawing.
The other three drawings can be used to simplify any drawing. Unless a specific plant is specified, drawing plants simply can make the rest of your drawing look better and have the emphasis where it should be.
