So why not use them as an example of how to add detail and then add gray scale. Not so sure the gray scale is working as well as it could. May have to do over, but my printer decided not to work today. So maybe tomorrow.
On this page the first two drawing show the difference that adding gray scale and having just a line drawing.
The other three drawings can be used to simplify any drawing. Unless a specific plant is specified, drawing plants simply can make the rest of your drawing look better and have the emphasis where it should be.
Adding gray scale to the drawing helps add depth and substance to the drawing.
Just started working on my second edition of the book Fairchild published for me in 2009. This drawing will have gray shades added, so you can see the difference a little gray scale can do for your otherwise flat drawings.
