Along with opening my first ever Vintage Renew booth at Red Plantation in Poulsbo, I hung a rather large Art Show at ChocMo in Poulsbo the next morning.

There are days in your life when are just happy to be part of the world. Today was one of those days. I helped some clients plan the modernization of their home, worked on elevations for the remodel of my son and daughter-in-laws kitchen and looked up to see this amazing moon.

The second edition on my book by Bloomsbury Publishers is about to go to print. It is due out in March and will have lots of drawing ideas.
Excited to start doing Interior Design once again. Took time off when I was teaching at The Art Institute of Seattle. I retired from the commute, but miss the interaction with the students. I am not good at retirement, so time to re-establish my design business.
Add a little action color into your home or wardrobe. When I was in design school, New York was always about four years ahead of the west coast in design and style. With the invention of technology and social networking, now it is maybe 4 seconds.
Embrace the new colors with a pillow or a wall in your home and a purse or a sweater in your wardrobe.
I have always believed that trends come and go, but good design will always remain. Add a little of the today’s trend into your life.
As an artist look to add they colors to your paintings. Think I will start working on a big abstract with these colors and see what happens.

Changed this a little to make some areas a little darker and a couple a little lighter. Hope it comes across a little stronger.
So why not use them as an example of how to add detail and then add gray scale. Not so sure the gray scale is working as well as it could. May have to do over, but my printer decided not to work today. So maybe tomorrow.
