Last night it rained, and as I did my morning round of “Slug Watching”, I only spotted three slugs and two of their friends, the Snail. Having removed by any means over 275 slugs (not including Snail friends) I was a little surprised to find four very large new slug inhabitants in my front yard.
So I think they dropped in with the rain. Logical conclusion? No??
The Famous “Running of the Bull’s” is a happening re-creation in the greater Seattle area. People are being slimed everywhere! Watch out as you walk along the boardwalk with all the unknowing tourists.
No one really knows till you move here, how big the slugs really are…..
Seattle has been known for its Slug population for years and finally the Slugs are finally taking over Seattle. The thought just came over me today; that this was what was happening in my yard. They finally came across the Sound and landed on the Olympic Peninsula.
