“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”

This quote and photo was in a health magazine that I read each month. It made me think children have such a better time than most adults for they are happy playful and don’t think you have to be anything else.

About a month ago I added Zumba and Kick Boxing to my weekly exercise routine an upped my personal trainer to join her bootcamp once a week. I am the oldest in most of the classes by at least 10 to 15 years, but feel better than I have in years. I have to laugh when I cannot do everything as well as some of the younger people, but keep smiling because I know I can most everything.

Never thought it could be this much fun! And now occasionally when I eat Chocolate, I don’t feel quite as guilty.

I have put my art on hold for a bit, enjoying my garden and the sunshine. I will paint again, but maybe not today.
